Great Lakes Metal Finishing, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have met the necessary requirements to be selected as a Licensee by MacDermid for the application of their new Trivalent Chromate and JS Sealers being marketed under the trade name "Zinklad".  This technology has recently been approved for use by GM, Ford, Audi and Delphi.  The process eliminates the use of Hexavalent Chrome while at the same time providing in many cases corrosion protection in excess of prior approved techniques.

These processes, although developed for the automotive industry, are available to any company desiring to eliminate the use of Hex Chrome  and improve the corrosion properties of their product.
